Coupling TrimeriX knowledge of wireless technologies with the sensors, electronics and regulatory requirements ensures that you are provided with a robust and legally compliant solution. Utilise our knowledge of Zigbee, Wireless M-Bus, GPRS, SMS and other low power radio links to provide the two-way communications channel for smart energy and monitoring solutions. Low power radio or powerline technologies provide the ideal mechanism for home area networks and transferring data to display units or data concentrators and gateways. Supplementary technologies that we have experience with include LCD and OLED displays, analogue and digital sensor technologies.

TrimeriX have developed a number of remote monitoring systems for environmental and energy monitoring. A key aspect is achieving ultra-low power consumption in order to obtain acceptable battery life – we have achieved battery lives in excess of 10 years with some of our designs. We have a proven track record when implementing smart metering or monitoring systems for gas or explosive environments including designing for Atex Zone 0. For electrical metering our engineers have the required knowledge and qualifications to support the electrical as well as the electronic requirements. Where applicable energy harvesting or scavenging provides an alternative to battery powered solutions. Wireless M-bus provides a viable and effective solution for remote meter reading and monitoring.
